Villanova, Pa. - By the time Tuesday rolls around, it will have been 321 days since the last Seton Hall vs. Villanova matchup on the hardwood, and that's too many days to go between battles in this rivalry. The Pirates and Wildcats have produced some of the best games in this new version of the BIG EAST, and they are ready to go at it again albeit with no fans in attendance.

COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on the schedules of both squads. The Pirates have not played in 10 days due to its Jan. 16 game getting postponed. The Wildcats have not played in a whopping 27 days, dating back to its last appearance on Dec. 23. One thing's for certain: this game features some of the best players in the conference. Seton Hall's front two are Sandro Mamukelashvili, who is the only player in the BIG EAST averaging at least 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists (multiples of three, you see what we did there?), and Jared Rhoden, who ranks in the BIG EAST top 12 in scoring, rebounding and free throw shooting. Villanova counters with Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, who is top-10 in the BIG EAST in scoring and rebounding, and Collin Gillespie, who has spots in the BIG EAST top 12 in scoring, assists, free throw shooting and three-point shooting.

Tuesday's clash will be nationally televised on FS1 with Scott Graham and Jim Spanarkel on the call. Gary Cohen and Dave Popkin will bring the radio call on WMCA 570 AM, simulcast on XM 387, the Pirate Sports Network and TuneIn.
