The Hall is set to play its first match on campus this season
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team will return to action on Sunday, Sept. 29 for its first BIG EAST match of the 2019 season against the Butler Bulldogs. The match, the Pirates' first at the newly renovated Owen T. Carroll Field, is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

PROMOTION
The first 50 fans to attend the match will receive a Seton Hall soccer scarf, and the first 100 fans will receive a Seton Hall soccer stress ball to commemorate the return to Owen T. Carroll Field.
PIRATES SUFFER HEARTBREAKER AT DELAWARE
Last time out, Seton Hall dropped a tough 2-1 double overtime result at Delaware on Sept. 22. After both sides scored a goal in the first 3:20 of the match, the Pirates and the Blue Hens went scoreless for the next 109 minutes before Delaware scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime.
SCOUTING BUTLER
Butler enters the weekend with a record of 5-3-1. Their draw (0-0 at Utah, 9/20) and two of their three losses (2-1 at No. 15 Wisconsin, 9/1; 3-2 at Milwaukee, 9/8) came away from Indianapolis.
The Bulldogs lead the all-time series against the Pirates, 4-1-1. The last time Butler visited South Orange, the match ended in a 0-0 draw (9/28/17). The Hall's lone win in the series was a 3-1 victory on Sept. 29, 2013 at Owen T. Carroll Field.

Next week, the Pirates will travel to Queens for a 7 p.m. match at St. John's on Thursday, Oct. 3. The tilt will be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
