SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Senior Haylee Gasser (Mission Viejo, Calif.) recorded a match-high 16 kills as the Seton Hall women's volleyball team swept Iona, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-13), on Wednesday.

Gasser led all players with 16 kills to go with eight digs and two service aces. Freshman Grace Rosenberg (Lido Beach, N.Y.) picked up her second career double-double with a match-high 32 assists and 11 digs.

SET 1:
Seton Hall got off to a slow start in set one, dropping behind 6-2. Out of a timeout however, The Hall scored six of the next eight points to tie the score at eight. Trailing 17-16, Seton Hall scored three straight points to take the lead for good, and a kill by Rosenberg put the Pirates up, 19-17. Back-to-back kills by Gasser ended the set in The Hall's favor, 25-21. Seton Hall attacked at a match-best .345 in the first set to fuel its win.

SET 2:
Trailing 13-10 in the second set, Seton Hall went on a 7-1 run to take a 17-14 lead. A kill by Reece Koehler (Stillwater, Minn.) gave The Hall a 20-17 advantage late in the set. A Gael service error put Seton Hall in set point, 24-21, and another Koehler kill ended the set in the Pirates' favor.

SET 3:
Seton Hall dominated the third set from the very start, scoring nine of the first 11 points. A kill by Julia Wilkins (Mason, Ohio) extended The Hall's lead to 17-6 and forced Iona's second timeout. Koehler's kill put The Hall in match point, 24-12, and two points later Amanda Rachwal (Bethlehem, Pa.) ended the contest with a flush of her own.

Inside the Numbers:

Gasser led all players with 16 points to go with eight digs and two service aces.
Rosenberg had a match-high 32 assists and 11 digs.
Koehler tallied 10 kills and a team-best .368 attack percentage.
Sophomore Eden Dolezal (La Porte, Ind.) had a match-high 14 digs.
Senior Madison Salkowski (Cold Spring, Ky.) notched six kills and no attack errors.
Seton Hall recorded a .277 attack percentage for the match, while Iona attacked at .192.
The Pirates had 44 kills, while the Gaels recorded 37.
The Hall finished with 55 digs, while the Iona tallied 43.

The Pirates improve to a perfect 11-0 all-time against Iona.
