Off to a 3-0 start, the Seton Hall men's basketball team now turns its attention to a huge opportunity. The Pirates will be facing quality opponents this week as they participate in the 2016 AdvoCare Invitational, held at HP Field House in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, adjacent to Walt Disney World. The fun begins with a Thanksgiving night showdown with the Florida Gators on ESPN2 at approximately 8:30 p.m. (following the Gonzaga-Quinnipiac game).

Fans can watch all the action on ESPN2 or the WatchESPN App with Mike Morgan, Brad Daugherty and Andy Katz. The radio broadcast featuring Gary Cohen and Dave Popkin will air on AM970 The Answer, simulcast on the Pirate Sports Network for FREE. The PSN is available at SHUPirates.com or the SHU Pirates App.

Seton Hall has played very well on offense this season and shooting percentages have so far been quite high. The team's top seven student-athletes in terms of minutes played are all shooting over 50 percent. Four different Pirates have scored 20 or more in a game so far and the same four -- Khadeen Carrington, Desi Rodriguez, Myles Powell and Angel Delgado -- are all averaging over 15 points a game. Powell is coming off a 26-point performance at Iowa that landed him BIG EAST Rookie of the Week honors. Rodriguez was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll after scoring 25 points.

The Pirates have enjoyed recent success in non-conference, in-season tournaments, going 11-4 in them since the start of the 2011-12 season. This includes winning the 2014 Paradise Jam Championship.

On Friday, the Pirates will face either Gonzaga or Quinnipiac with the game time being either 7:30 or 9:30 p.m.
