Norman J. Dermody, Jr.

Norman Dermody posted a 21-9 career record and a 1.71 ERA at Seton Hall from 1965–67. He completed 21 of the 27 games he started and led the Pirates to the 1967 Met Conference Championship. Along the way, he set a school record with nine shutouts and was named the 1967 Met Conference Pitcher of the Year. Selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1967 MLB Amateur Draft, Dermody pitched professionally for four years. After ending his baseball career, he became the head baseball coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
