Harry T. Boutsikaris

Lifetime Achievement Award - Elected 1989
Harry Boutsikaris graduated from Barringer High School, having won numerous varsity letters and honors in fencing, highlighted by his second-place finish in the 1939 National Interscholastic Championships. Then at Seton Hall, he was the freshman Intercollegiate Foil and Sabre Champion in 1940, the Eastern Intercollegiate Foil and Sabre Champion in 1942, and was co-captain of the 1942–43 season team which posted over 70 consecutive wins under coach Dr. Gerald Cetrulo. He went on the become the Pirates head coach and led his teams to over 100 dual match wins, including three years as North Atlantic Intercollegiate Fencing champions.
