Frank S. Fletcher

Induction:
1982

Frank Fletcher was a member of the Seton Hall two-mile relay team which set a world record at the Bronx Coliseum on March 25, 1942. Running the second leg of that competition race, he helped the team win with a time of 7:33.9. As a member of the Navy from 1942–45, he took part in the South Pacific invasions of Saipan and Okinawa. He went on to become a successful track coach in California.
