Andrew LeBlanc is in his 12th year as part of the Seton Hall Swimming & Diving coaching staff, and his second as the assistant coach, a role he began prior to the 2020-21 season. LeBlanc is in his 23rd year as part of the Athletic Department at Seton Hall. Originally part of the men's swimming team from 2000-04, LeBlanc graduated from the University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before completing his Masters of Science in Experimental Psychology in 2008.Â
LeBlanc served on the coaching staff when the men's team captured its first BIG EAST Championship in 2017 and subsequently repeated as champions in 2018. Honored with multiple BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year awards (2016-18). As a student-athlete, LeBlanc primarily swam mid-distance freestyle, backstroke and butterfly events.
Originally a Massachusetts-native, LeBlanc currently serves as a professor in the psychology department at Seton Hall. LeBlanc is an assistant coach at the summit area YMCA as a lead coach for the National and Senior level groups, as well as a mentor to the entire coaching staff. Swam and coached at the YMCA of the North Shore in Beverly, Mass.
He is also an avid Boston Red Sox fan.Â
