NEW YORK, N.Y. – Graduate student goalkeeper Devin Armstrong (Palm Harbor, Fla.) was named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week after shutting out No. 18 Princeton, the conference announced Monday.
Armstrong made seven saves while facing 22 shots in Seton Hall's scoreless road draw against No. 18 Princeton. The graduate student made three saves over the final five minutes to preserve the result and secure his fourth shutout of the season. Armstrong owns a .848 save percentage and 0.88 goals-against average through eight matches, with the former mark tied for 12th in the nation.
This is Armstrong's second weekly BIG EAST honor and his first BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week win.
