
Pirates Earn CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Team Honor

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America's (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2024 semester. The Pirates have earned the distinction in each of the 14 semesters with head coach Derek Sapp guiding the program.
Selection to the team is based on cumulative team grade point average for the fall semester. The men qualified with a team GPA of 3.59, while the women received the honor with a GPA of 3.56.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
Overall, 722 teams from 417 institutions were honored, representing a total of 17,162 student-athletes.
