LOUISVILLE, KY. - Sophomore Shelbey Manthorpe (Merion Station, Pa.) recorded her second straight triple-double and fifth of the season, but it was not enough to overcome the BIG EAST's most high-powered offense as the Seton Hall women's volleyball fell at #17 Louisville 3-0 (21-25, 23-25, 20-25) on Saturday.
Manthorpe finished with 10 kills, 21 assists and 15 digs, impressive totals for just three sets of action and a nationally-ranked opponent. Sister Stacey Manthorpe (Merion Station, Pa.) notched her 11th double-double of the season with a team-high 12 kills to go with 12 digs.
Libero Alyssa Warren (Joilet, Ill.) equaled Shelbey's team-high of 15 digs, while senior Morgan DeVries (Grand Rapids, Mich.) led the Pirates with six blocks.

The Cardinals stretched their lead to a set-high five points at 19-14, but Seton Hall would score four of the next five points to cut the Louisville lead to just two, 20-18. Trailing 23-20, a block and kill by Shelbey Manthorpe on consecutive points brought Seton Hall closer, 23-22. The 17th-ranked Cardinals wouldn't fold however, and coming out of a timeout, closed out the set, 25-23, to take a commanding two sets to none advantage.
The Cardinals dominated set three from the start, jumping out to a commanding 9-2 lead. Seton Hall cut the deficit to 11-6, but Louisville responded with a 5-1 run to extend its lead to 16-7.
